Dr. Steven K. Huprich works with adults who are seeking to understand why their lives are not going the way they want and who have struggled unsuccessfully to overcome their challenges on their own. With 26 years of experience in independent clinical practice, he has trained hundreds of individuals to become psychologists. Dr. Huprich has a strong background in higher education and academia, which keeps him informed of the latest treatment advances. He tailors his approach to meet the individual needs of his clients.
He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and Society for Personality Assessment, and he is board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Huprich’s office serves clients in Northville, Northville Twp., Novi, Plymouth, and surrounding areas, though many people from southeast Michigan and across Michigan choose him as their provider.
Past accomplishments include serving as the Past-President of the International Society for the Study of Personality Disorders, Past-Editor of the Journal of Personality Assessment, and being awarded the Theodore Millon Award for mid-career achievements in personality psychology by the American Psychological Foundation and Division 12 of the American Psychological Association in 2013.
